Job summary

RTX is seeking an electrical engineer to apply RF/microwave theory and AESA architectures in a hands-on design role. You will contribute to the development of phased-array systems and perform design work that advances national security capabilities.

Responsibilities include RF component design, system integration and test, and using HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Xpedition and MATLAB to model, simulate and validate performance.

We have an opportunity for an electrical engineer who is seeking to utilize their strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave system theory and design, including architectures, subsystems, components and Active Electronically Steered Antennas (AESAs).

What You Will Do
  • Design of RF microwave components and phased array applications
  • Integration and test of component level and system level phased array hardware
  • Hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics' Xpedition and analytical tools such as Matlab

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
