This seasonal assignment with Leidos Antarctic Support Contract requires US citizenship, a Public Trust security clearance, and deployment to Antarctica for roughly 20 weeks annually.
The McMurdo Area Management Senior Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for a broad range of administrative and organizational support functions while deployed to McMurdo Station as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). This position will primarily support the on-station office of the National Science Foundation (NSF).
This is an alternate position, and will only be officially onboarded should the already identified primary candidate withdraw from consideration or be deemed unfit for deployment.
This position is seasonal, and employment is only provided during the deployment period in Antarctica (approximately 20 weeks/year). The candidate in the position must complete the physical and dental examinations required by the NSF for deploying to Antarctica.
Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
Must obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start date. This process could take up to 4 months.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $60,000 - $64,000 annually, along with a percentage increase for deployment to Antarctica.

Leidos Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) is the prime contractor to the National Science Foundation (NSF) in support of the United States Antarctic Program (USAP).
