Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform. You will build scalable frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, and deployments across Linux and cloud platforms.

The role requires strong scripting (YAML, Python), IaC experience, and excellent documentation. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Engineering teams and contribute to modernization initiatives in a hybrid cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (AAP, playbooks, roles, modules, automation workflows).
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Linux administration experience (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift).
• Experience supporting cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Scripting with YAML and Python.
• Experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment automation.
• Excellent documentation and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a highly technical, non-customer-facing environment.
