ANSEP’s Acceleration program in Anchorage is seeking a proactive Student Worker to provide operational, logistical, and administrative support to our Program Manager. You will assist with managing program inventory and technology, streamlining digital file workflows, and maintaining secure confidential records.

This role is located on the UAA campus for the academic year as a pooled student position, with applications reviewed as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in the University of Alaska system for at least six (6) credit hours in the current semester (or enrolled for six or more credit hours in the preceding semester with plans to enroll in six or more credit hours in the upcoming semester for inter‑session employment).
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 and in good standing.
  • Previous administrative or office assistant experience handling records, filing, or digital asset organization preferred.
  • Ability to act professionally and maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
  • Confidence in actively communicating with your team members and supervisor regarding your job duties.

The Acceleration program in Anchorage is seeking a proactive Student Worker to provide operational, logistical, and administrative support to our Program Manager. In this role, you will assist with managing program inventory and technology, streamlining digital file workflows, maintaining secure confidential records, and providing hands‑on support during special events. This position plays a critical role in keeping our daily Anchorage operations running smoothly to serve Acceleration students.

To thrive in this role, you should be a reliable, detail-oriented individual who excels at keeping physical and digital spaces organized. You work well independently by following multi-step instructions, take initiative to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors, and treat sensitive student records with absolute confidentiality and professionalism. Proficiency with Google Suite and a hands‑on approach to managing technology and physical inventory will set you up for success.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of how to use Google Suite including Google Docs and Sheets, and the ability to search information on the internet.
  • Previous administrative or office assistant experience handling records, filing, or digital asset organization preferred.

Position Details

Experience working with rural and/or Indigenous Alaska populations preferred.
