Job summary

Griffin Distribution Partners in Raleigh, NC is growing its internal wholesaling team and seeks an Annuity Specialist. You’ll be the go-to resource for advisors bringing fixed, fixed indexed, and income annuities to clients, working side by side with sales and case management.

This full-time, remote role requires 3–5 years of annuity experience, a life and annuity license, Series 6/63 (Series 7/66 preferred), and strong communication as you manage illustrations, design cases, and CRM activity.

• Securities: Series 6 and 63 required; Series 7 and 66 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with financial advisors by phone and Zoom to identify client needs and recommend annuity solutions.
• Run illustrations and product comparisons across MYGAs, fixed indexed annuities, and income riders.
• Lead case design from first conversation through submitted business.
• Track carrier rates and product changes, sharing timely ideas with advisors.
• Help advisors navigate carrier requirements, suitability and the application process.
• Support marketing campaigns, webinars, and advisor events.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in our CRM.

We're an independent insurance and annuity distribution firm in Raleigh, NC, delivering objective, unbiased solutions to financial advisors nationwide - broker-dealer representatives, RIA firms, and sub-BGAs.

The Role

To support that growth, we're adding an Annuity Specialist to our internal wholesaling team. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a firm that's building something special. You'll be the go-to resource for advisors bringing fixed, fixed indexed, and income annuity solutions to their clients, working side by side with our sales and case management team. Full-time and remote.

What You'll Do

• Partner with financial advisors by phone and Zoom to identify client needs and recommend suitable annuity solutions
• Run illustrations and product comparisons across MYGAs, fixed indexed annuities, and income riders

What You Bring

• 3-5 years of experience as an annuity specialist or internal wholesaler at a carrier, IMO, or BGA
• Strong working knowledge of fixed and fixed indexed annuities, including caps, participation rates, and income riders
• Active life and annuity insurance license in good standing, with a clean regulatory and compliance record (required)
• Securities registrations: Series 6 and 63 required at minimum; Series 7 and 66 preferred
• Clear, confident communication with advisors and their clients
• Organized and self-directed in a remote setting
• Comfort with illustration software, CRM systems, and video meeting tools
• Strong understanding of the broker-dealer and RIA channels, including how annuity business is approved, sold, and supported in each
