Baptist Nassau is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN to serve as Assistant Nurse Manager in the AAU/ICU, responsible for overseeing patient care, directing staff, and coordinating ICU operations. This role requires leadership on night shifts and ICU expertise.

Education includes an ASN or BA/BS in Nursing with ACLS/BLS certifications preferred. Call duties and performance standards apply in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Responsibilities include: Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case. This position requires call.

Performance Standards Note: Utilize Performance Standards labeled "ORRN" for the ORs and utilize "RN" Performance Standards for the ICU RN

Responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing care to patients requiring immediate treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Education/Degree Required

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience

• ICU Experience Required
• Post- Surgical Nursing Experience Required
• Nursing Experience

License And Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
