Job summary

City of Grand Prairie is seeking an Animal Services Officer to enforce environmental, animal and housing codes throughout the city. The role involves patrolling for violations, inspecting properties, issuing citations, and handling administrative tasks.

You will provide public service, develop community education programs, and assist with shelter operations including adoptions and euthanasia when necessary. A lead role includes supervising personnel and coordinating field operations.

Qualifications

• Education and certifications listed above are required or preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and write reports with proper grammar.
