Job summary

Symrise is seeking individuals to support palatability trials, animal husbandry, and daily care in a pet-focused facility. You will follow established procedures, record observations, and help maintain clean animal spaces while ensuring humane treatment and safety.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to veterinary and USDA guidelines. Candidates should have at least three years working with pets, be capable of lifting 50 pounds, and enjoy outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with pets.
• Must follow safety rules, procedures and USDA regulations.
• Able to walk, train and exercise dogs and interact with cats.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform palatability test procedures and record data accurately.
• Maintain animal housing areas and clean equipment per protocol.
• Monitor animals daily and report illnesses to Vet Staff and management.
• Assist with facility maintenance and sanitation following 5S standards.
• Manage supplies and restock as needed.
