Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Establish schedules and methods for enforcing animal control laws and patrol for animals at-large.
  • Investigate neglect or cruelty; issue citations and advise on compliance.
  • Interact with the public and coordinate with veterinarians for treatment when needed.
  • Investigate nuisance animals and enforce ordinances; document findings and take appropriate action.
  • Handle bite reports and incidents; maintain records and assist with animal licenses.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment; coordinate withVillage authorities; prepare reports and records.
