Glenview Chamber is seeking a friendly Caregiver to join our animal shelter team in Northbrook. This role offers full-time and part-time options, with starting pay at $15/hour. You will provide hands-on care for dogs in a busy shelter.

Responsibilities include feeding dogs, providing water, cleaning kennels, safely handling animals, administering medications when instructed, and monitoring health or behavior. You’ll work closely with coworkers to keep daily shelter operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Medication administration experience is a plus, but not required.

What Does a Caregiver Do?

Our Caregivers help keep our shelter clean, organized, and running smoothly while ensuring our dogs receive the daily care they need. Responsibilities include:

Experience administering medications is a plus, but not required! We’re happy to train the right person. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced animal shelter environment.
