Job summary

Lake County Animal Services is seeking a staff member to support the daily operations of the Animal Shelter Division. The role involves maintaining shelter routines, cleaning, grooming, feeding, washing and caring for lost/impounded animals, and handling related tasks.

The position may assist with emergency support functions in declared emergencies and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
• Requires high school diploma, GED, or vocational training with one (1) year of related experience.
• Requires a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Safety sensitive and high-risk positions are also subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol tests.
