In this role, you’ll help provide consistent, humane care for animals while supporting daily facility and operational needs. Responsibilities may include:
Providing daily animal care, feeding, cleaning, and general observation
Supporting routine animal handling and production activities
Assisting with basic data collection and established procedures
Monitoring animals and documenting observations
Maintaining clean, safe, and organized animal and facility areas
Keeping accurate care, treatment, and inventory records
Following established animal welfare, safety, and sanitation procedures
Collaborating with team members to complete daily priorities
Participating in a rotating weekend and holiday schedule, typically about once per month
Previous animal care, agriculture, livestock, production, or similar hands‑on experience is helpful, but not required. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
Successful candidates should be dependable, comfortable working in an animal‑care environment, attentive to detail, and able to follow established procedures.
This is an active, hands‑on position. Candidates should be able to:
Remain on their feet for much of the workday
Lift, carry, reach, and handle items weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
Work in an environment requiring multiple showers and clothing changes during the workday
Perform routine physical tasks associated with animal and facility care
