Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.

• Computer proficiency including shelter software, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of normal cat and dog behavior.

• Ability to work with diverse staff and volunteers.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily animal care tasks and workflow.
• Schedule staff breaks and coordinate with volunteers.
• Lead team huddles and mentor staff across locations.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure clean animal living areas.
• Assist with admissions, transport, and adoptions processes.
• Participate in development of SOPs and shelter operations.
