Job summary

VCA Noah's Place Animal Medical Center in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Animal Care Attendant to join our team, delivering compassionate care to boarded and hospitalized pets.

Responsibilities include cleaning cages, feeding and caring for dogs and cats, walking dogs, bathing, laundry, and assisting doctors and technicians. Must be able to work weekends and holidays; we offer medical/dental/vision, paid vacation, a 401(k), and pet care discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for dogs and cats is preferred.
• Ability to follow veterinary staff instructions and safety procedures.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean cages and hospital areas.
• Feed and care for dogs and cats.
• Walk and bathe dogs.
• Assist doctors and technicians as needed.
