Job summary

VCA Pets Are People Too, Roswell Animal Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking an experienced Full-Time Kennel Assistant (Animal Care Assistant) to join our AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor practice in Roswell. Responsibilities include cleaning cages, feeding and caring for dogs and cats, walking dogs, bathing, laundry, and maintaining hospital premises; you will assist doctors and technicians as needed.

Two Sundays per month are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Motivated self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Dependable attendance and transportation required.
• Experience in a veterinary or boarding facility preferred; training provided.

VCA Pets Are People Too, Roswell Animal Hospital (http://www.vcahospitals.com/pets-are-people-too-roswell/home.html) is seeking an experienced Full-Time Kennel Assistant (Animal Care Assistant) to work at our AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor practice in Roswell, Georgia.

Must be a motivated self-starter who is able to take direction and work with minimal supervision. Dependable attendance and transportation is required.

Experience in a veterinary or boarding facility is preferred but will train the right person. A positive attitude, strong attention-to-detail, and the ability to multi-task are a must.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning cages.

At least two Sundays per month are mandatory to check on pets in boarding while the hospital is closed.
