Job summary

Northwind Pork is seeking a hardworking and dependable employee to work in swine production facilities. This position will be in charge of taking care of the health and production of our swine, as well as ensuring clean facilities for the swine.

Duties include daily care, breeding swine, administering vaccinations, and power-washing and cleaning the swine barn. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, with animal husbandry interest and ability to work solo or in a team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Animal husbandry skills, or the desire to learn how to effectively care for pigs.
• Ability to work alone and within a team.
• Communicate any potential issues that may be identified with the swine.
• Previous industry experience helpful, but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
