Job summary

Emplay is seeking a Frontend Developer to join our team in the United States. The role focuses on building scalable Angular applications, leveraging standalone components and modern patterns to deliver high-performance UI and real-time data experiences.

You will work with RxJS, REST APIs, and state management to create robust, maintainable frontends, while collaborating with design and backend teams to ensure a polished user experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Angular 21+ with standalone components, signals, and modern Angular patterns.
• Strong understanding of RxJS, Observables, and memory management in asynchronous streams.
• Experience with WebSockets/SSE for real-time UI updates and efficient data rendering.
• Solid knowledge of semantic HTML, responsive CSS/SCSS, and accessible UI structures.
• Hands-on experience with Reactive and Template-driven forms, validation, and dynamic form state management.
• Experience consuming REST/HTTP APIs using Angular HttpClient with proper error handling and retries.
• Experience with state management patterns beyond local component state (signals, services, NgRx).
• Experience with data visualization libraries ( ngx-charts or equivalent) and transforming API data for charts.
• Understanding of token-based authentication, OAuth/OIDC, and route guards.
• Experience with Angular Material or similar UI libraries (dialogs, tables, forms, etc.).
• Proficiency with Git workflows, PRs, and clean commit history.
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest/Jasmine/Karma/Vitest and testing components/services.
• Commitment to code quality, DRY, SOLID principles, linting and formatting standards.
• Awareness of performance optimization and lazy loading in Angular apps.
• Ability to collaborate in code reviews and communicate trade-offs.
