Job summary

SME Careers is seeking an Angular Engineer to work remotely on an hourly paid basis to review AI-generated Angular code, frontend architectures, and explanations, and to produce reference implementations and reasoning.

You will assess solutions for correctness, accessibility, security, and performance, address change detection, RxJS, routing, SSR, and hydration, and write model solutions that reflect best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Eng or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years building production Angular web apps (Angular 12+ preferred; 16/17+ a plus).
• Expert-level TypeScript and Angular fundamentals: components, DI, pipes, guards, interceptors.
• Strong RxJS mastery and reactive UI patterns.
• Deep Angular performance knowledge: OnPush, async pipe, rendering optimization.
• Experience with SSR/Angular Universal, deployment patterns, security considerations.
• Experience with Jasmine/Karma or Jest, Angular Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright, CI/CD.

Pay: up to $90/hour

As an Angular Engineer, you will work remotely on an hourly paid basis to review AI-generated Angular code, frontend architectures, and technical explanations, as well as produce high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning for complex engineering problems. You will assess solutions for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, performance, and adherence to the prompt; identify issues in Angular change detection, RxJS streams, state management, routing, forms, SSR (Angular Universal), hydration, and bundle performance; fact-check technical information; write high-quality explanations and model solutions that demonstrate best practices; and rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.

This fully remote, hourly paid contractor role is with SME Careers, a fast-growing AI data services company and subsidiary of SuperAnnotate that provides AI training data to many of the world’s largest AI companies and foundation model labs—where your frontend expertise will directly help improve the world’s premier AI models used by millions of developers worldwide.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 4+ years of professional experience building production web applications with Angular (Angular 12+ preferred; Angular 16/17+ a strong plus).
• Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Angular fundamentals: components, modules/standalone APIs, DI, services, pipes, directives, guards, and interceptors.
• Strong understanding of RxJS (observables, operators, multicasting, error handling, cancellation) and reactive UI patterns.
• Deep knowledge of Angular performance: change detection strategies (OnPush), async pipe patterns, zone.js considerations, signals (if applicable), trackBy, and rendering optimization.
• Experience with Angular routing, forms, and validation: Reactive Forms, custom validators, form performance, and UX patterns.
• Familiarity with SSR and deployment patterns: Angular Universal / SSR, hydration, caching, and security considerations.
• Experience with testing and quality: Jasmine/Karma or Jest, Angular Testing Library, Cypress/Playwright, linting, CI/CD.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency (written and spoken), with the ability to write clear technical explanations and follow detailed English-language guidelines.
• Proven experience conducting detailed code reviews and enforcing coding standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility.
• Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated technical content is a strong plus.
• Highly detail-oriented and systematic, with a methodical approach to evaluating reasoning quality and identifying subtle issues in complex UI code.
