Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking an Angular Developer to build and maintain applications that support our core mission, focusing on seamless integration and high performance.

You will follow TDD/BDD, ensure WCAG 508 compatibility, create and use style guides, and tune UI performance. Tasks, sprints, and timesheets are managed in JIRA, with Confluence documentation and Bitbucket code repositories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Math, or Science and 8–15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Angular experience and knowledge of React.
• Extensive HTML5/CSS3/SCSS/SASS/LESS, Material, Bootstrap, PrimeNG.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES5/ES6).
• WCAG-compliant UI development.
• Experience with Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI, and/or Gulp.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• TDD/BDD experience (Jest, Jasmine, Karma, or Chai).
• Knowledge of client-side architecture and design patterns.
• Cross-browser compatibility and performance concerns.
• User authentication/authorization across systems.
• Version control with Git, SVN, Mercurial.
• Strong problem solving and independent work.
• Strong learning ability.
• Eligibility to obtain/maintain U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Follow TDD/BDD development with extensive unit testing

Required Qualifications:

• Requires bachelor's Degree in engineering, Math, or Science and a minimum of 8-15 years of relevant experience


• Solid understanding and development experience in Angular and knowledge in REACT


• Extensive programming experience in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, SASS or LESS, Material, Bootstrap, PrimeNG


• Experience with Typescript


• Excellent JavaScript knowledge and programming experience with ES5/ES6


• Experience in developing UI applications with WCAG compliance


• Experience with tools like Redux, Webpack, Angular CLI and/or Gulp


• Experience consuming REST APIs


• TDD/BDD experience (Jest, Jasmine, Karma or Chai)


• Experience with client-side architecture and design patterns


• Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations


• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments


• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git, SVN or Mercurial


• Exceptional problem solving and ability to work independently


• Exceptional learning skills


• The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance

Salary Range

The proposed salary range for this role is $150,000 to $165,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Karsun considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
