Job summary

Visiting Angels In Jenkintown is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors in Horsham, PA and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, clean home environment.

The ideal candidate holds CNA/HHA/DC certification, has 2+ years of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA/DC Certification required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience preferred.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Background checks and drug screening will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Help keep clients' home clean and clutter free.
• Assist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errands.
• Perform personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming.
• Provide companionship and friendship to seniors and their loved ones.
• Maintain communication between seniors, family, coworkers, and office staff.
• Perform non-medical home care services as needed.

Our home care team provides daily living assistance for seniors and other adults in the comfort of their homes.

Essential Functions:

A successful applicant will meet the following requirements:

• CNA, HHA, and DC Certification
• At least 2 years of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferred
• A compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior community
• Bilingual skills are preferred, but not required
• Driver's license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insurance
• Completed or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completed
• References, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
