Job summary

WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center is seeking an anesthesia technician to support the anesthesia team. The role involves knowledge of anesthesia practices and aseptic technique, and daily organization, stocking, setup and cleaning of anesthesia equipment and supply environments used in patient care.

The technician will work under the supervision of licensed anesthesia care providers in diverse clinical settings, including setup of IV maintenance fluids, fluid warmers and pressure

Qualifications

• Knowledge of anesthesia practices and aseptic technique.
• Daily organization, stocking, setup and cleaning of anesthesia equipment and supply environments per standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed anesthesia care providers in clinical settings.
• Set up IV maintenance fluids, fluid warmers and pressure transducers.
• Maintain and clean anesthesia equipment per department and regulatory standards.
