Overview

A facility in western New York is seeking an experienced general anesthesiologist for locum coverage beginning November 3. Full‐time availability is preferred, though candidates available 1‑2 weeks per month will be considered. This is a hospital‑based assignment with weekday shifts and required weeknight/weekend call.

  • Weekend call: Friday 7 p.m. ‐ Monday 7 a.m.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Supervision model: 1 MD to 2‑4 CRNAs
• No OB or trauma
• Pre‑op and post‑op assessments
• Required cases:
  • Endoscopy
  • Orthopedic (joints, fractures, hand, podiatry)
  • General surgery (hernias, breast, gallbladders, bowel, colorectal)
  • Urology (cystoscopy, laser lithotripsy, hydroceles)
  • Gynecology (hysteroscopy, laparoscopy)
  • Spine (neuromonitoring, cervical, lumbar)
  • Vascular and ENT
