Job Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible general anesthesiologist and Critical Care Medicine intensivist to provide care at Loyola Medicine (Loyola University Medical Center).

The role includes diverse clinical experiences such as complex orthopedic, neurosurgical, obstetrical, urologic, surgical oncology, and trauma cases. The provider will work in a dynamic setting with a team of CRNAs, residents, and medical students, with opportunities for clinical teaching and supervision of trainees.

Our Critical Care team collaborates closely with cardiac surgeons within a 15-bed Cardiothoracic ICU, handling highly complex cases including ECMO, LVAD, transplantation, and re-operative cardiac procedures. Faculty rank and compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Applicants must be licensed in Illinois at the time of hire.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive starting salary between $159,000 and $985,945, based on experience and academic rank
