Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in New York. Start ASAP with Day shifts and on-call duties as part of a physician-led team. 7 operating rooms, diverse case mix, and flexible assignment lengths.

Required are Board Certification/Board Eligibility, ACLS and BLS, plus an unrestricted license. EMR CPRS familiarity is preferred. We offer comprehensive malpractice insurance and travel arrangements for contractors.

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Unrestricted state medical license (or IMLC acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care as part of a physician-led team.
• Attend to scheduled shifts Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm with on-call responsibilities.

Call and requirements: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:00pm (call is required)Supervision vs independent: Physician-led team supervisory modelElectronic Medical Record (EMR): CPRSCertifications required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is requiredNumber of operating rooms: 7License required or accepting IMLC: Any unrestricted state license
