Job summary

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC General Anesthesiologist to join the established team at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital in Tampa, FL. The position offers a competitive compensation package including start date bonus, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates will work in a dynamic environment covering a variety of complex cases and will enjoy a 40-hour work week with 10 weeks of PTO, $5k for CME annually, and employee stock purchase plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in diverse cases: General, Bariatric, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, GI, Endo, ENT, Urology.
• Ability to work in a team with an Anesthesia Care Team model.
• Willingness to share beeper call equitably amongst Physicians.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital.
• Provide anesthesia care across 10 ORs and various departments.
• Handle an average of 25 surgical cases per day.

Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BE/BC General Anesthesiologist to join the established team at HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital in Tampa, FL.

Qualified Candidates/ Highlights of Opportunity:

• Anesthesia Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs covering 10 ORs plus Cath Lab, IR and Endo. Supervision of CRNAs 1:4.

• Diverse mix of highly complex cases General, Bariatric, Ortho/Spine, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, GI, Endo, ENT, Urology. No trauma. No Ob. No Peds.

• Average surgical cases 25/day.

• Average work week 40 hours M-F. Beeper call shared equitably amongst Physicians.

• Block proficiency required.
