Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in New York. The role requires board certification/eligibility, ACLS, and BLS, with physician-led supervision and a 7‑OR facility. Shifts are Day 8 with call obligation during business hours.

License must be unrestricted; CPRS EMR is used. Benefits include malpractice coverage and travel/Lodging coordination by AMN. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible anesthesia physician required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Unrestricted medical license in any state accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical cases in a physician‑led team.
• Support perioperative patient care from pre‑op to post‑op.
• Participate in on‑call schedule Monday–Friday with responsibilities.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and supervise OR operations.

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Call and requirements: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:00pm (call is required)
• Supervision vs independent: Physician-led team supervisory model
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPRS
• Certifications required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required
• Number of operating rooms: 7
• License required or accepting IMLC: Any unrestricted state license
