Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in St. Petersburg, FL. Hospital setting with cardiac, spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic and vascular cases. Regular hours 7a-5p, beeper call 5p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on weekends; Florida license and board certification required.

EMR systems include Meditech, Medaxion, PODS and QGenda; credentialing typically 30–60 days. AMN provides malpractice coverage and handles travel and lodging.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in anesthesiology.
• Active Florida medical license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for hospital patients; cases include cardiac, spine, neurosurgery, orthopedic and vascular surgeries.
• Cover regular shift 7a-5p Monday to Friday with beeper call 5p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on weekends.
• Locum tenens deployment to support facility needs; credentialing typically 30–60 days.

• Schedule: 7a-5p M-F, Beeper call shifts M-F 5p-7a weekday, Weekends 7a-7a
