Job summary

Health Here in Southeast Indiana is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist or CRNA to provide comprehensive anesthesia services in a hospital setting. You will manage cases across OB, ENT, orthopedics, and general surgery, performing epidurals and regional blocks, with CRNA collaboration under surgeon supervision in a 7-OR facility.

The role includes preoperative prep, intraoperative care, and postoperative recovery, with OB-focused backup and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in anesthesia.
• ACLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently across multiple specialties.
• Experience with regional anesthesia and various anesthesia techniques.

Responsibilities

Job description

Role: Full-time anesthesiologist or CRNA providing anesthesia services in a hospital setting in Southeast Indiana.

• Responsible for independently managing cases across multiple specialties including OB, ENT, orthopedics, and general surgery.
• Perform epidurals, regional blocks, neuraxial anesthesia, and assist with emergency procedures like C-sections and VBACs.
• Work with a team of four anesthesiologists and two CRNAs, with CRNAs working independently under surgeon supervision.
• Handle preoperative preparation, anesthesia administration, and postoperative care within a facility with 7 ORs and a cysto room.
• Participate in backup and weekday/weekend call duties, primarily for OB cases, with response time requirements for emergency situations.
• Must be board-certified or eligible, with ACLS certification, and completed anesthesia residency or CRNA program.
• Provide quality patient care, respond to codes only for airway issues, and perform rare procedures like central line placement.
