Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in New York. The role involves day shifts, a Monday–Friday schedule with a daily 7:30am–5:00pm window and on-call requirements. The facility operates 7 ORs and requires board certification/eligibility, ACLS and BLS, with unrestricted state licensure.

The ideal candidate joins a physician-led team and will be supported by AMN with malpractice insurance, travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligible in Anesthesiology.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Unrestricted state license (or IMLC accepted).
• Experience with physician-led supervisory models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia care per clinical guidelines.
• Support a physician-led team during daily rounds and cases.
• Manage perioperative patient care across 7 operating rooms.
