Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in New York. Start ASAP with Day shifts and competitive hourly pay. The facility operates a physician-led team with 7 operating rooms and CPRS EMR. Board eligible or board certified with ACLS and BLS are required, plus an unrestricted license.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with call responsibilities. AMN will assist with travel, lodging, and malpractice arrangements for contractors.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• EMR experience with CPRS preferred.
• 7 operating rooms at facility.
• Unrestricted state medical license or licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesiology services as part of a physician-led team.
• Manage perioperative care for scheduled cases.
• Participate in on-site call schedule: Mon–Fri 7:30am–5:00pm (call required).

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Call and requirements: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:00pm (call is required)
• Supervision vs independent: Physician-led team supervisory model
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): CPRS
• Certifications required: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required
• Number of operating rooms: 7
• License required or accepting IMLC: Any unrestricted state license
