Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Buffalo, NY. Start ASAP. Schedule: 5x12s, Monday–Friday, 7am–7pm, with Epic EMR.

Requirements include Board Certification in Anesthesiology, NY license, ACLS, BLS, and NY CSR/DEA. Duties may involve directing CRNAs or performing cases in the Cath Lab across 19 ORs. AMN provides malpractice insurance and travel/lodging coordination.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology required.
• ACLS and BLS current.
• New York CSR/DEA credentials required.
• New York State license required (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Direct CRNAs or personally perform anesthesia cases depending on daily room schedule.
• Work with Epic EMR and maintain patient safety during procedures.

This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Call & Requirements: Monday - Friday, 5x12s (7a-7p)
• Supervision vs Independent: Care team--The MD would be medically directing CRNAs or personally performing depending on how many rooms will be run each day
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
• Certifications required: Board Certification, ACLS, BLS, New York CSR/DEA
• Number of Operating Rooms: 19 ORs but this person will only be working in the CATH Lab
• License Required or accepting IMLC: New York License required
