Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiologist in Western Massachusetts for a Monday–Friday, no-call position with a diverse surgical caseload across orthopedics, general, thoracic, urology, GI, neurosurgery and more. The role includes offsite endoscopy and same-day procedures, collaborating with surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative staff.

Ideal candidates hold an MD/DO, completed an anesthesiology residency, are board certified or eligible, and are eligible for Massachusetts licensure.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and collaborative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across orthopedic and sports medicine, general, thoracic, urology, gastroenterology, neurosurgery and other elective procedures.
• Deliver anesthesia care at an offsite endoscopy suite and same-day procedural facility.
• Collaborate with surgeons, CRNAs and perioperative staff to support a growing multispecialty program.
• Maintain a clinically engaging practice with a healthy work-life balance.

A well-established healthcare organization in beautiful Western Massachusetts is seeking a motivated and collaborative Anesthesiologist to join its growing Surgical Services department. The position encompasses anesthesia services across orthopedic and sports medicine, general surgery, thoracic surgery, urology, podiatry, gastroenterology, neurosurgery, and other elective procedures. The physician will also provide anesthesia care at an offsite endoscopy suite and same-day procedural facility, working alongside an experienced team of surgeons, CRNAs, and perioperative professionals.
