Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is partnering with a central Georgia hospital to provide locum tenens anesthesia coverage. Schedule: 7a-3p, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, with 3:7 beeper call, and a 1:3 supervision model.

Case types include general, OB/GYN, ortho, peds, urology, ENT, and ophthalmology; epidurals, spinals, and blocks are required. The team includes 3 CRNAs; Medaxion EMR; travel and lodging are paid; must be board-certified with a DEA; benefits include malpractice coverage and licensing

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologist required.
• DEA license required.
• Experience with epidurals, spinals, and blocks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for diverse cases according to schedule.
• Collaborate with surgeons and CRNAs to ensure patient safety.
• Accurate documentation of anesthesia records and events.
