Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage surgical cases, OB, and other hospital needs during call.
• Adhere to call structure with a 1:4 solo call model.
• Provide airway management and line placement.

• Comfortable with independent/solo practice in a rural setting
• Experience with pediatric, OB, peripheral nerve blocks, spinal and epidurals, and central line placement
• Adaptable to variable call demands and case mix
• Values autonomy and a wide scope of practice

Call Structure

• 1:4 solo call model
• Call responsibilities: surgical cases, OB and other hospital needs including ED support, airway management, and line placement
• >50% callback rate on primary call nights
• Must be available within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call

• Small anesthesia team with broad clinical responsibilities, high level of autonomy, dynamic coverage model requiring flexibility and collaboration
