Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support in Alexandria, VA. The assignment requires a board-certified anesthesiologist to supervise CRNAs and provide own anesthesia blocks.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, about 40 hours per week, in a 9-operating-room facility. Virginia licensure is required along with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications for perioperative care coverage.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Anesthesiologist with current licensure in Virginia.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience supervising CRNAs and managing own blocks.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a 40-hour, Monday–Friday schedule.
