Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking highly collaborative anesthesiologists to join our expanding teams across Indiana, including IU Health Methodist & University Hospitals in Indianapolis and IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, diverse case variety, and involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Residency training in Anesthesiology (required).
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology (required).
• Eligible for or currently holds an Indiana medical license (required).
• Subspecialty training or interest in obstetric, neuro, or cardiovascular anesthesia preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills valued.
• Open to both experienced providers and new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Full-time clinical practice with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
• Case variety may include general, ENT, GYN, neuro, thoracic, cardiovascular, obstetric, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and more.
• Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with potential for faculty appointment through the IU School of Medicine.
• Flexible scheduling to support faculty initiatives, research, and quality projects.
• Call responsibilities required (varies by site).
• Work alongside a collegial, multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and anesthetists; visa sponsorship (H-1B) available.
