Anesthesiologist opportunity at nationally recognized UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital in York, PA, near three major cities. The new UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital opened in August 2019 and is a 98-bed facility with private patient rooms, offering acute and emergency medical care, cardiology and vascular services, robotics and surgical services, and more. Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Manage patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures.
• Pre-anesthesia assessment; obtain and/or verify patient consent.
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor the patient\'s physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
• Currently licensed as a physician.

Case Assignments & Shifts

Case assignments include general, endoscopy, orthopedics, L&D, and more. Shifts available: 8s, 12s, 16s, and 24s (when available).
