Requirements include MD degree, anesthesia residency completion, CA medical license and valid DEA license. Pay is hourly and reflects experience, credentials, and applicable agreements; comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) required.
• Completion of approved anesthesia residency.
• Board eligible in Anesthesiology; Board Certification expected.
• Valid license to practice medicine in California.
• Valid DEA license.

Responsabilités

• Facilities consultations and perioperative care in inpatient, OR, procedural and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with a hospital care team to ensure smooth patient transitions.
• Attend department meetings and continuing education programs.
• Plan and participate in staff education programs.
• Serve as a role model for trainees and staff.
• Coordinate with primary care to ensure timely discharge summaries.
• Support quality, cost controls, and standardization initiatives.
• Communicate status of patients to referring or admitting physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
