Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologists for our Newnan Hospital location. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in general anesthesia and cardiac experience, and possess the motivation to provide excellent clinical care to a thriving medical community.

Responsibilities include supervising CRNAs, perioperative anesthetic care, and maintaining medical management of patients pre- and postoperatively, with 24/7 coverage.

Qualifications

• BC/BE MD in Anesthesiology.
• 1–2 years of general anesthesia with cardiac experience.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and coordinate perioperative care.
• Active license in GA.
• Experience with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthetic care for cardiac patients.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNAs and operating room staff.
• Ensure 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the team.

Requirements & Highlights

• BC/BE MD
• At least 1-2 years' experience in general anesthesia + cardiac experience
• Possess a skill set to perform perioperative anesthetic care and maintain medical management of patients pre- and postoperatively
• Active license in GA
• Ability to supervise and manage CRNAs on staff
• Assist the other team members in providing adequate anesthesia coverage for patients 24 hours a day/7 day a week
• Epic EMR
