Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking board-certified cardiac anesthesiologists for our Newnan Hospital location. The ideal candidate will have one to two years of experience in general anesthesia with cardiac exposure and possess the motivation to deliver excellent clinical care to a thriving medical community.

Requirements include active GA licensure in Georgia, ability to supervise CRNAs, and proficiency with Epic EMR to support comprehensive perioperative care.

Qualifications

• BC/BE MD required with Georgia medical license.
• 1–2 years' experience in general anesthesia with cardiac exposure.
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and manage perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthetic care and perioperative management.
• Assist with 24/7 anesthesia coverage for patients.

Requirements & Highlights

• BC/BE MD
• At least 1-2 years' experience in general anesthesia + cardiac experience
• Possess a skill set to perform perioperative anesthetic care and maintain medical management of patients pre- and postoperatively
• Active license in GA
• Ability to supervise and manage CRNAs on staff
• Assist the other team members in providing adequate anesthesia coverage for patients 24 hours a day/7 day a week
• Epic EMR
