LocumTenens.com is seeking an anesthesiologist for an ongoing January start in Central Massachusetts. The role features a day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with 24-hour in-house call on the 2nd and 4th weekends, and independent anesthesia coverage within an autonomous practice model.

Board-certified MDs will provide 100% hands-on anesthesia across diverse surgical specialties including general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, pediatrics and OB.

Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought beginning in January on an ongoing basis to address staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.About the Facility Location

Clinicians will provide independent anesthesia coverage under an autonomous practice model with 100% hands-on MD involvement. Scheduled shifts run Monday through Friday from 7:0 AM to 3:30 PM, with 24-hour in-house call shifts on the 2nd and 4th weekends (Friday through Sunday, with a Friday 7:00 AM start). The surgical case mix includes general, plastics, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, healthy pediatrics, and OB procedures. Board certification is required, and the credentialing timeframe for this assignment is approximately 100 days.
