Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians for California assignments. Shifts are typically 7am–3pm or 7am–5pm with weeknight and weekend pager call; general, ENT, and endoscopy cases are covered. Cardiac, trauma, and OB are not involved. Hospital privileges and board certification are required.

In addition, Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses, plus 24-hour access to a dedicated Weatherby consultant and a nationwide support network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician required.
• Hospital privileges must be active.
• Experience with general, ENT and endoscopy cases.
• Willing to cover weeknights and weekends via pager call.
• Malpractice insurance paid; travel and housing expenses prepaid.

Responsibilities

• Shift options typically 7am–3pm or 7am–5pm with call coverage.
• Provide care for general, ENT and endoscopy cases (no cardiac, trauma or OB).
• Maintain portal-based assignment details and time entry.
