Job summary

AMN Healthcare in Houma, Louisiana is seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our anesthesia team for a full-time opportunity just outside New Orleans. You’ll provide comprehensive anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties, collaborating closely with CRNAs and perioperative staff.

The compensation package includes a $515,000–$575,000 salary, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and loan repayment support, plus a full benefits program and substantial PTO/CME.

Qualifications

MD/DO from an accredited institution.
BC/BE in Anesthesiology.
Eligible for Louisiana license.
Completed ACGME-accredited residency.
CRNA supervision experience preferred.
Strong communication & teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia for general surgery, ortho, urology, GI, and more
Supervise and collaborate with a strong CRNA team
Perform pre-op evaluations and tailor anesthesia plans
Manage all perioperative anesthesia phases
Respond to airway and anesthetic emergencies
Provide regional anesthesia & pain management
