Job summary

MedStar Health in Washington, DC seeks a full-time Anesthesiologist to join the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital team. This 1.0 FTE call position covers ortho, regional, spine, neuro, healthy pediatrics, OB and plastics, with no vascular or cardiac cases.

The role offers a premium base salary, a strong bonus, eight weeks of PTO, CME stipend, license and fee reimbursements, health benefits, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by ABA.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia coverage for a variety of cases including ortho, regional, spine, neuro, pediatric, thoracic, plastics and OB.
• Participate in a full-time 1.0 FTE call schedule with limited vascular or cardiac cases.
• Collaborate with the MedStar Health Anesthesiology group at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

About the Job

Comp range $475K-$505K, plus bonus with variety of cases, e.g., ortho, regional, spine, neuro, healthy peds, thoracic, plastics, OB and some transplant. We are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our group at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. This is a full-time, 1.0FTE call position, e.g., four weeknights and one weekend day (Sa or Su) per month. No vascular or cardiac cases.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology by ABA.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, D.C.
