Job summary

Augusta Health in the Shenandoah Valley is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist to join our growing team. Schedule includes varied shifts totaling about 2100 hours annually as a 1.0 FTE, with 1–2 first calls and 1–2 second calls per month.

Case mix spans orthopedics, GI, OB, general surgery, and more in a collaborative network. This community hospital offers Mayo Clinic clinical trial access, competitive compensation with sign-on, relocation, CME allowance, and retirement

Qualifications

• MD/DO with Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia.
• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a diverse case mix including orthopedics, GI, OB and general surgery.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, CRNAs and anesthesia techs to ensure patient safety.
• Participate in schedule and on-call rotation to support operations.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient-centered care in a community setting.
