The New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS) in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team. The role offers academic affiliation with UNM and time for teaching and research, with a strong commitment to Veteran care.

We provide a comprehensive rewards package including a $550,000 annual salary, sign-on options, 50–55 days of PTO, federal benefits, and malpractice tail coverage. Licensure flexibility and opportunities for mentorship are available.

Competenze

• Board-certified or board-eligible Anesthesiologist.
• Willingness to engage in academic pursuits and teaching.

Mansioni

• Provide full perioperative care from preoperative optimization to postoperative management.
• Intraoperative management including ERAS pathways and ICU involvement.
• Oversee acute and chronic pain management across cases.
• Supervise CRNAs and trainees, with opportunities to personally perform cases.
• Collaborate across cardiothoracic, vascular, general, orthopedic, urology, ENT, GI, interventional radiology, and related specialties.
