Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in Illinois seeks a BE/BC physician to provide patient care across Northwestern Medical Group and affiliated hospitals and clinics. You will maintain a clinical schedule and on-call coverage as needed.

You will refer patients to specialists in our network, participate in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities, and ensure compliance with billing and documentation policies. Additional duties may be assigned by the President of NMG.

Qualifications

• BE / BC is required or board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to patients at Northwestern Medical Group and affiliated hospitals and clinics.
• Maintain a clinical schedule and on-call coverage as needed.
• Refer patients to specialists within NMG's affiliated network when appropriate.
• Participate in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities.
• Comply with billing, documentation, and related policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the President or designee.
