Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant to join the collaborative anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. This medically supervised practice offers exposure to a broad high-acuity case mix across trauma, OB/Gyn, vascular, neuro, and more, with flexible scheduling (8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts).

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
• NCCAA certification required.
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, CRNAs, and AAs in a team-based anesthesia model.
• Provide anesthesia care across trauma, OB/Gyn, pediatrics, vascular, EP, IR, neurosurgery, robotics, thoracic, OMFS, etc.
• Manage a broad, high-acuity case mix with flexible scheduling (8/10/12 hours).
• Engage in quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
