Odyssey Locums is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 6–12 month locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. The role features day shifts with 8, 10, or 12 hours and a mix of General, Neuro, and Orthopedic cases.

The position offers top-tier hourly pay, streamlined credentialing, and comprehensive benefits including housing and travel support, with MD supervision of CRNAs in a busy eight-room facility.

Qualifications

• Board-certified anesthesiologists preferred (if applicable).
• Schedule includes day shifts with flexible hours.
• Experience handling general, neuro, and ortho cases.

Responsabilités

• Provide anesthesia care for General, Neuro, and Ortho cases.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and MDs in a 8-room facility.
• Document in Epic and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The Role:

• Assignment duration: 6 - 12 months.
• Shift Type: Day Shift. Shift lengths: 8, 10, 12 hours (Required).
• Cases: General, Neuro, Ortho
• OT: Not expected but offered.
• Site Charting System: Epic.
• Number of Anesthesia Rooms: 8
• Are MDs supervising CRNAs: Yes
• What is the CRNA to MD ratio: 1 to 3; 1 to 4
• Are MDs doing their own cases: No
• Willing to accept candidates that need to obtain state license: Yes
• Credentialing Timeframe: 40-60 days
