Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our team at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care and collaborate with CRNAs and Anesthesiology Assistants to ensure safe, high-quality services.

Open to new graduates with strong commitment to patient care. The role involves 24/7 coverage coordination with the anesthesia care team, and the use of Epic EMR for documentation and workflows in

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Active Georgia medical license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure).
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in general anesthesia (newer physicians with relevant training are encouraged to apply).
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative anesthetic care, including preoperative evaluation, intraoperative management, and postoperative care.
• Supervise and collaborate with CRNA or Anesthesiologist Assistant to ensure safe and effective anesthesia services.
• Participate in providing 24/7 anesthesia coverage in coordination with the anesthesia care team.
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and clinical workflows.
• Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
